The lotus flower is a symbol of purity, transformation, rebirth and spiritual growth. It represents the supreme symbol of the human being's alchemical quest, the transformation of ignorance into wisdom, and of darkness into light. The green lotus flower represents the Anahata chakra, the heart chakra.
