An Ancient Celtic Sacred Wedding Ceremony
The sacred marriage ceremony takes the couple on a journey through the four elements of Air, Fire, Water and Earth, and includes a ritual for each of the elements.
We decorate the space, create the altar and provide all the necessary equipment, such as the incense and the incense bowl for the Air ritual, which represents the beginning of the couple's relationship and serves to cleanse the past and the future path together, as a sacred couple. The incense is created by the priestess according to the personality of the couple.
For the water ritual we use a chalice from the temple, dedicated for this ceremony, and containing water from the "Fonte dos Amores", sacred waters of emotional healing.
The water element represents emotions and the couple's ability to support each other in more vulnerable phases of life.
For the fire, we bless the union with the sacred flame of the temple, the Goddess Flame. The fire represents the passion and love flame of the relationship. During the ritual, both are invited to light their own candle with the temple flame and hold it as a perpetual flame to love in deep connection with that moment when they exchanged pure vows of truth and Love.
For the Earth element we perform the ritual of joining hands, with the hoop and the staff, symbols of the feminine and masculine.
During the ceremony, the bride and groom's family and friends can be actively involved, making each step even more special and memorable.
Each ceremony is unique, designed together and according to the personality of the bride and groom!
